Beginning her classical voice training at the age of 14, Georgia excelled at theVictorian College of the Arts Secondary School, becoming the youngest student to be awarded the Robert Salzer Voice Award.
Continuing her impressive work in musical theatre, Georgia has starred in leading roles such as Christine in Phantom of the Opera, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Maria in West Side Story and Charity Barnum in Barnum. Her contribution to Victorian musical theatre has been recognised with a Guild award and four Lyrebird awards.
In 2012, Georgia turned her attention towards opera and became ‘Opera Scholar of the Year’ through the Opera Scholars Australia program, making her the youngest vocalist to ever win this prestigious award. She has placed in multiple competitions since, including winning the Ringwood Aria Competition, and was awarded numerous scholarships through her university.
After graduating from Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in 2014, Georgia undertook her professional debut as Sophie in Left Bauer’s production of MasterClass, which received rave reviews and was remounted for a return season and tour in 2015. In December 2015, Georgia was featured in Sydney’s Carol in the Domain as one of 8 of Australia’s finest upcoming opera singers.
Accepted into multiple opera summer programs for 2016, Georgia then travelled to Italy to study before undertaking her international operatic debut as Pamina in Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute). Georgia also toured Victoria with David Hobson in their hit Christmas show “From Bach to Bing”.
