Cruisin’ Country is a living and breathing country music cruise that travelled on its inaugural trip from Sydney to the Pacific Islands on the 27th of October 2011, aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas for seven glorious nights. This festival at sea featured an amazing collection of Australia’s top Country Music artists. Just imagine sitting back enjoying a beautiful sunset whilst listening to the sounds of living legend John Williamson, or the fresh sound sensations of Amber Lawrence. Then being able to kick back with the awesomely talented country super group, The Songbirds. Without doubt, this was a seriously star-studded country music line up.
The line-up of top Australian Country Music Award winning artists included John Williamson, Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole, Gina Jeffreys, Sara Storer, The Songbirds, Catherine Britt, The Rustlers, Amber Lawrence, Amber Joy Poulton, Honky Tonk Angels, Walk The Line, Jim Haynes, DJ Mike Parkes and many more.
Known as the ‘ship of light’, Rhapsody of the Seas is a sleek, luxurious and modern cruise ship with a warm atmosphere throughout its 11 decks of entertainment. Rich wooden décor, sun-filled atrium, marble staircases and buttery leathers all help contribute to a feeling of relaxed elegance.
