Our thoughts are with everyone that has been impacted with the current issues our world is facing with the COVID-19 virus. We firstly would like to express that Choose Your Cruise, Cruiseco and Artist Network Australia are following daily updates and changes to the Australian cruise industry as we navigate through this unprecedented time in our lives. We are monitoring the situation constantly, however as our charters are in the late stages of 2020 it is unknown at this stage if the current restrictions will impact the timeline of our voyages leaving.
What Choose Your Cruise can confirm is we are not cancelling our 2020 charters, and are positive that all will proceed to be the best year of music festivals at sea to date. That being said, the ultimate decision will come down to Royal Caribbean’s ships, plain and simple answer is if the ships are operating then all cruises will proceed as planned. Below we will list your options for those unsure of what they want to do and we are working collaboratively to offer the best for our passengers.
We will know more as time goes on and it is our pledge to keep everyone fully informed as any new information becomes available. We reiterate again, Choose Your Cruise the charterers of the voyages will not be cancelling the charters on our end – the only situation where the 2020 cruises do not take place is if Royal Caribbean do not offer the ships available for deployment/use and passenger boarding (and/or the passenger gathering restrictions stay in effect past September). We urge everyone to work in conjunction with us during this time and that whilst this is not ideal, and with many variables which can cause stress, unease and frustrations, the situation is changing daily and we will know more as time goes on. The CYC staff, your local travel agents and cruise line all have your best interests at heart, so please exercise understanding as we work through these uncertain times on your behalf.
Further to this, many passengers are looking for clarification regarding the 2020 cruises and contingencies in place:
Cruiseco and Choose your Cruise are pleased to announce our Music Assurance Program for our 2020 Music Cruises. Whilst little to no cancellations have been received, we wanted to ensure you had peace of mind regarding these sailings you have booked on.
This new policy provides you (our passengers) with the confidence to pay the balance of their 2020 Music Cruise and the opportunity to review their plans once full payment has been made.
Once full payments have been made the client has the option to review their travel plans between 90 and 60 days prior to departure and receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit (FCC) valid on the soon to be released 2021 Music Cruises.
Between 59 days and 45 Days prior to departure 50% cancellation fee then applies.
Less the 45 days prior to departure 100% cancellation fee then applies.
