Thee Marshmallow Overcoat are Ash Naylor, Davey Lane and Brett Wolfenden – and play music of the 1960’s with the fire and vigour of the bands they pay tribute to, groups such as The Who, The Kinks and Pink Floyd. The trio came together in 2013 to perform as a backing group for their friend Jim Keays, and since his unfortunate passing dedicate a part of their set to his band, The Masters Apprentices. Over the years they have performed individually on stage and record with Australian legends as Paul Kelly, Jimmy Barnes and Crowded House, as well as continuing to perform with their own groups You Am I and Even.
