They believed that country music in Australia was ready for an exciting new sound and began writing songs, rehearsing, playing live and seducing a loyal fan base.
2014 saw the release of their highly anticipated album ‘Kickin up Dust’ which debuted at Number 2 on the ARIA Australian Country albums charts.
The band also hit the road with Australian country’s male super Duo McAlister Kemp for an 8 month tour as well as performances Gympie Muster and Deni Ute Muster.
The guys hit the ground running in 2015 at the Tamworth Country Music Festival with rave reviews and standing room only at all of their gigs.
The Viper Creek Band were nominated for ‘Best Group or Duo’ at the 2015 CMC awards and then closed the Oz artist stage on Sunday night of CMC rocks right before headliners Big and Rich.
The band were invited to the USA to play a festival at sea with artists such as Joe Nichols, Trace Adkins, Neal McCoy & Blackjack Billy. They also performed a show at the legendary Nashville honky-tonk ‘Tootsises’ Orchard Lounge on Broadway to rave reviews.
