About Rock The Boat 2019 (SOLD OUT!)

19 - 26 October 2019

In 2019, the beloved Rock The Boat cruise celebrated almost a decade of rockin’ the high seas. Dubbed as one of the hottest rock cruises in the world, and a favourite with Australian audiences, Rock The Boat 2019 boasted an enviable line-up that will get every rock music fan excited. Headlined by the undisputed Queen of Rock herself, Suzi Quatro, the seven-night luxury cruise brought together the best of the best for an unforgettable music festival at sea.

The ninth annual Rock The Boat set sail in October 2019, featuring over 40 of the greatest rock acts on the touring circuit today, showcasing classic rock from the 70’s and 80’s. Aboard The Radiance of the Seas cruise liner, Rock The Boat will docked in Noumea and Isle of Pines, and was jam-packed with live entertainment, from concerts daily to immersive on board experiences. Rock music fans revelled in the fun of theme nights, air-guitar wars, lip-sync battle, and get up-close-and personal with the musicians at the artist signings. There was also the Sexiest Man Alive Competition and the ship’s biggest conga line, plus the infamous Schooner Bar Sessions… something to be seen to believed!

With international festival favourite Suzi Quatro headlining, audiences are in for a treat indeed. Joining the 2019 line-up were also Aussie legends The Angels, whose songs have become an indelible part of the Australian music psyche. Audiences loved performances by The Sweet (UK), John Paul Young & the Allstar Band, Glenn Shorrock and Brian Cadd, MI-SEX, and Chocolate Starfish to name a few. There were also special shows paying homage to legends of the 1970’s and 1980’s rock music scene with Ziggy – The Songs of David Bowie and the Best of The Bee Gees.

In a special coup, the 2019 special guest for the cruise was none other than Countdown Aficionado Molly Meldrum. Other artists part of the highly anticipated cruise included ACCA DACCA, Steve Balbi, Dai Pritchard, Blues Brothers Rebooted, The Mason Rack Band, New Romantics, Ben Waters (UK) and The Rod Stewart Show, plus many more. This was a rockin’ holiday from start to finish – the moment cruise goers step aboard the ship they were in for an unforgettable rock experience.
