Cruisin’ Country 2012 featured an amazing collection of Australia’s top Country Music artists. Just imagine relaxing with a glorious sunset whilst listening to the sounds of Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson, or the contemporary country sound of Troy Cassar-Daley. Then, kick back with the awesomely talented Beccy Cole or The Bluegrass All-stars. Without doubt, this was a seriously star-studded Country Music line up.

Shows on board were held in intimate venues such as Broadway Melodies Theatre and the Shall We Dance Lounge, but also around the ship in places like the Viking Crown Lounge, Champagne Lounge, Schooner Bar and Pool. Punters were able to enjoy breathtaking live performances, or put their dancing shoes on and indulge in some fantastic Line and Square Dancing, as well as Clogging held by our resident dancing instructors who come on board especially for Cruisin’ Country.

Known as the ‘ship of light’, Rhapsody of the Seas is sleek, luxurious and modern cruise ship with a warm atmosphere throughout its 11 decks of entertainment. Rich wooden décor, sun-filled atrium, marble staircases and buttery leathers all help contribute to a feeling of relaxed elegance.
