Cruise N Groove, a Disco and Motown cruise experience with iconic disco band Village People as headline artist sailed on its inaugural cruise in October 2013. Cruise N Groove is the latest addition to Choose Your Cruise’s popular music cruise themes. Taking inspiration from the golden eras of music, Cruise N Groove offered music from disco to Motown, funk and a hint of nostalgia – this cruise was a party experience guests were delighted to be a part of.

Cruise N Groove departed Sydney on 5 October 2013 for a seven-night cruise to the South Pacific aboard Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas.

The Village People were joined on-board by other legendary artists including Glenn Leonard’s Temptations Revue, the Former Ladies of The Supremes, Marcia Hines, Leo Sayer and John Paul Young to name a few.

In addition to the non-stop music experience, guests also explored the beautiful New Caledonian destinations of Noumea and the Isle of Pines, and enjoyed all of the amenities and facilities aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas, which underwent an extensive multi-million-dollar refurbishment just months before the cruise sailed.
