The Party Cats

BIOGRAPHY
The Party Cats are Peter Tilbrook on lead vocals and lead guitar and Brian “Davvo” Davidge on bass guitar and backing vocals and their first performance as a duo was at the Gepps Cross Hotel in Adelaide in 1999. They have been captivating audiences wherever they have been playing ever since then specialising in Sixties Party Music. Peter Tilbrook’s was inducted into the SA MUSIC HALL OF FAME in 2012.
The Party Cats have a huge repertoire of over 400 great songs all guaranteed to get anyone onto the dance floor and provide a night to remember. Their sound is live, not sequenced like so many modern bands and duos are these days i.e. these guys actually play their own instruments. It’s raw; exciting Sixties music played as it was meant to be played. The Party Cats enjoy involving the audiences into the fun and “Davvo” does this better than most, in the business. His microphone talents and ability to connect with the audience are second to none in Adelaide. The Party Cats remain one of the most professional and sought after acts in Adelaide today.

The MASTERS knew of Peter’s wild guitar playing, vocal ability and on stage antics when he was the lead guitarist with THE BENTBEAKS who were a top MOD BAND of the day. Peter was in the Masters Apprentices during their hey days when all the action was taking place sometimes playing 35 to 45 minute spots at four different dances a night, playing at huge concerts with audiences of up to 100,000 people such as at the Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne and The Velodrome in Melbourne. Peter was also in the band when they were given equal first prize in the National Hoadley’s Battle of the Bands a national competition of thousands of bands.
