Tania is a freelance singer who performs internationally and throughout Australia. Her operatic roles

with Opera Australia include Mercedes (Carmen), Hippolyta (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Third Lady

(The Magic Flute), Clairon (Cappriccio), Mercedes (Carmen), Carmen (Oz Opera – touring production of

Carmen), Kate (Pirates of Penzance), Leila (Iolanthe), The Spirit (Dido and Aeneas).

Roles with other companies include Enrichetta di Franca (I Puritani; Victorian Opera), Carmen (Carmen;

Melbourne Opera), Flora (La Traviata; Melbourne Opera), Cornelia (Giulio Cesare; Victorian Opera),

Marguerite (La damnation de Faust; Victorian Opera), Fricka (Die Walküre; New York Foundation of the

Arts Wagner Theatre Program), Ma: The Tender Land and Drummer Girl: Der Kaiser Von Atlantis

(Operalive).

International concert work includes; Haydn Mass in B minor (Reading University Choir and Orchestra,

London), Handel Messiah, Bach Christmas Oratorio, Beethoven 9 th Symphony.

Tania has recently returned from Tokyo where she performed Handel’s Messiah and a selection of

Carmen arias. In 2016 Tania will perform the role of Alisa in Victorian Opera’s production of Lucia di

Lammermoor and First Norn in Opera Australia’s Der Ring des Nibelungen.
